Mr. Ung Gim Sei focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including trademark applications and infringement, Internet and media law. He is a regular contributor to the Chinese Singapore daily newspaper on legal topics, including cyber defamation.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Ung spent 27 years in the media industry. He worked as a journalist and then later as Managing Director of the now-defunct Nanyang Siang Pau. In 1983, he became the Group General Manager, Chinese Newspapers Division, at Singapore Press Holdings and held that post until 1990. In 1991, Mr. Ung joined the Hong Kong Sing Tao Newspapers Group that publishes the Chinese Sing Tao Daily, which is circulated to Chinese communities around the world. Sing Tao Group also publishes the English Hong Kong Standard.

He was concurrently the General Manager of Shen Sin Daily, a daily newspaper of general interests published jointly by Sin Tao Daily and Shenzhen Special Zone Daily. This paper was allowed to circulate publicly in China with a special newspaper licence issued by the Chinese Central Government, the only one of its kind so far.

Mr. Ung is also legal advisor to another 18 associations and organizations.

Mr. Ung graduated in 2002 from the National University of Singapore with a Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, a Common Professional Examination in Law (London) and an LL.M. (Distinction) in Chinese and Comparative Laws from the City University of Hong Kong. He was admitted to practice law in 2003.

Mr. Ung was awarded PBM in 1986 for his effort in cultural promotion.

James Lee Ah Fong

Mr. Lee qualified as Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple) in 1980 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1981. He is at present a partner of the law firm Ng, Lee & Partners. Mr. Lee is a Senior Lawyer in active legal practice for 35 years. He handles mainly criminal cases, civil litigation, family law cases and general solicitor’s work.

Besides being a volunteer lawyer of the Law Society Criminal Legal Aid Scheme, he had also offered his service as assigned counsel for High Court capital cases.

Mr. Lee joined the Singapore Police Force (“SPF”) as an inspector in 1966 and was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1976 after attending a 3-month training course at the FBI National Academy in 1974. He had served in various units of the SPF before his resignation in 1980.

Mr. Lee had previously held the position as the President of the Singapore Hainan Hwee Kuan and is currently an Honorary Management Committee member of the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, the Chairman of Yuying Secondary School Ltd and legal advisor to several associations, societies and companies. He is also an Independent Director of Cortina Holdings Limited, TEE International Ltd and TA Corporation Ltd.

Florence has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience covering China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and Singapore.

She has rich HR exposure in varied industries spanning from local SMEs, listed companies, MNCs and Chinese Fortune 500 companies as well as state owned enterprise as Global HR Director and Senior HR Manager managing diversified workforce of more than 2000.

Qualified ACTA trainer and facilitator, she has conducted numerous workshops and programs during her course of work from English proficiency to stress management, handling foreign employees, avoiding job burnout, effective supervision and management of talents, Employment Act and Employment Claims Tribunal (TADM) with SCAL, SCCCI, ASPRI, SHRI etc as well as Dun & Bradstreet.

She holds an Executive Master of Science in Industrial Organisation Psychology & Human Resource Management from CUNY(Baruch College) – City University of New York and has a degree in Business Administration from University of South Australia, Adelaide (UNISA) as well as an Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment and Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers.  She was certified as internal auditor of ISO 9000, TS16949 and BCM SS540.

Adrian Tong is a Certified Financial Planner since 2011. He has been helping people with the protection and transfer of their wealth, as well as helping companies in the areas of Risk Management, Marine Insurance, Employment Insurance Liability, Cyber Security and Keyman insurance.

As a veteran in the industry, he has written many articles for magazine such as The Financial Planning Magazine from FPAS and for Xin Qiao Magazine. He has also been given talks on varies business networking events, on subjects like Investments, Market Outlook, Healthcare Management and Business Succession.

Adrian Tong is also a member of varies Cultural Associations, and had been giving seminars on Chinese Culture since 2018. He is the currently Secretary of the Singapore Han Cultural Society for the Term 2019-2022 as well as the President of Nee Soon East Mandarin Advanced Toastmasters Club for the Term 2020-2021, with experienced in helping companies to build their Corporate Culture and heads 0f Family Businesses to build their family culture, so as to help them build a long lasting legacy.
